Refund Policy

WorldForge produces custom, made-to-order 3D art. This policy explains when payments are refundable and how to request a review.

Last updated: [Date]

Requires legal review. This document is a template. Every [Jurisdiction] placeholder and bracketed value must be completed and the full text reviewed by qualified counsel before publication.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all production engagements unless a signed statement of work (SOW) states different commercial terms.

2. Deposits

Deposits reserve production capacity and cover art direction and blockout work. Deposits are non-refundable once production has started, except where required by consumer law in [Jurisdiction].

3. Milestone payments

Payments for approved milestones are final. Because assets are custom-built to client specification, delivered and approved work cannot be returned.

4. Cancellation before delivery

  • Cancelled before kickoff: refund of amounts paid, less an administrative fee of [Admin Fee].
  • Cancelled mid-milestone: refund of the unearned portion, calculated against hours logged and work delivered to date.
  • Cancelled after milestone approval: no refund for that milestone.

5. Work that does not meet the brief

If delivered assets do not meet the written specification in the SOW, we will correct them at no charge within the agreed revision rounds. If we cannot bring the asset to specification after [Number] corrective rounds, you may request a refund of the fee for that specific asset.

6. What is not refundable

  • Changes of creative direction after written approval of a milestone.
  • Cancellations caused by the client's own project being shelved or delayed.
  • Third-party costs already incurred, such as licences, scans, or render time.

7. Requesting a refund

Send a written request to admin@halorix.online within [Request Window] days of the relevant delivery, including the SOW reference and the specific assets concerned. We respond within [Response Window] business days.

8. Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within [Processing Window] business days. Bank or processor fees may be deducted where permitted in [Jurisdiction].

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the laws of [Jurisdiction].
